Advent featured today in "Nasdaq Stocks in the News." Thats in Friday's Investor's Business Daily. "Advent broke out of an 8 week consolidation to just shy of a closing high on double its average volume over the past 50 days of trade. But its Relative Price Strength line, which graphs the stock's price change vs. the S&P 500, is still well below its previous peak. The San Francisco-based comany's software helps investment mgmt firms handle all jobs, including porftoliio mgmt, client accts, trading order mgmt, and tax and accounting. Clients range from banks and brokerages to hedge funds to foundations and plan sponsors. Annual earnings have grown an average 35% over the past five years and 40%, the past three. On a quarterly basis, profit has risen 35% to 55% from year-ago levels for 11 straight quarters. Sales growth has topped 40% for seven periods. Return on equity has improve over the past three years, from 12.7% to 19.3%"
