If you worry about the innocent it will consume your life. There are innocents children all over the world starving, and being worked to death, being sexually used, being blown to bits- worrying about them does them absolutely no good. Trying to make rational decisions that are utilitarian (and do teh greatest good for the greatest number and do the least harm) do help, and I try to do that, and support people who do that.

I don't do all I could do- so FEW people do, but I do more than most. And I no longer obsess. It does the miserable people in the world absolutely no good if I am miserable too. I am concerned about the innocent, I would like to protect them all but I know that cannot be done, and I try to make judgments that are moral in my frame of reference.

I think you misunderstood me completely but it doesn't matter.
