CORAL GABLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1999--Orex Gold
Mines Corporation (''Orex'') (OTCBB:ORXX - news) announced it has
begun crushing and milling silica ore from the Santa Maria mine to prepare samples for purity analysis. Orex will
ship the ore samples to Hazen Research in Colorado Springs, CO and Mountain States Labs in Tucson, AZ. The
results of the silica analysis will be used to prepare a suitable crushing circuit to produce a saleable silica product
and to define a market for the finished product.
