I misunderstood. I was thinking of the funds that are around that don't invest in companies that violate world child/slave labor laws, or don't invest in Japanese companies, or Nuclear companies.
I was envisioning a fund that invested in Team franchises, and maybe NIKE and Reebok, Rawlings (?), Golf equipment makers and course designers, Racetracks, Racing horse farms (isn't Calumet Farms public ?).... that kind of crap.
Say, why don't we put our heads together and start our own fund that did that ? just for the hell of it ? I know the stock price of the Celtics dropped like a rock when Larry Bird announced his retirement...
