Regarding companies that are using Coherent lasers for production, Micron is now installing Coherent lasers on their steppers. It is interesting that MU has apparently chosen the Coherent product for future stepper purchases since; (1) DRAMs typically have the smallest feature sizes of all chips (although they tend to have many fewer layers than other chips), and; (2) MU has one of the lowest costs and highest efficiencies of all chip manufacturers. Other than companies that might be buying 193 nm steppers from SVGI, of which there probably aren't many, I do not know of any other semi manufacturers that have switched to Coherent lasers.
