I can't imagine SME going any lower than 2 3/4, but then again we have a lot of nervious investors and I believe people are concerned that SME continues to lose market share. And most of us are at a loss to what they will do to turn it around. How can they compete against these speciality stores. Ans as far as jewelry is concerned every store in the mall has jewelry priced at 50% off. I have always wondered whether it was a mistake for SME to not be in the mall proper instead of stand alone. I have 6500 share at an average of 3 3/4 and don't see any chance of breaking even for awhile, but I am going to hang in a while longer. John Dessauer of Investors World continues to recommend a BUY on SME, and he has been right most of the time although it has taken a while on a lot of his recommendations. I must admit that i am concerned, but I remember when Kmart was in dire straits and the stock was at 'fire sale' price and it has moved up and stabilized. Maybe SME will do the same or maybe someone will step up and buy them out, or maybe management will work some magic or maybe all of this is wishful thinking. I know this doesn't offer much encouragement, but I thought I would offer my opinion as a fellow investor and maybve you or someone else can give me some encouragement. Don
