ot ot ot Yes there is it is called Mars Polar Lander, they have microphone on it, you should be able to hear the first sounds from another planet, also two probes that where jettison from the craft before it enter atmosphere, that will have smashed into the surface at 400mph, then drill down 6 feet, then transmit up the a circling sat. to be relayed back to earth. The Polar Lander has a digging device on it just like a back hoe.
