Boy ... it's gonna take me a while to track through Frank's tour de force ... wowza! You da man, Frank. It immediately occurs to me, though, that if I was sitting in a room across from the ATHM or RR guys, I'd sure love to be able to whip out a slide showing how specifically the performance of Nuomedia's java design responds to generalized page caching. I'm fishing here ... I suppose it's not really necessary to go as far as using a CacheFlow box or Akamai/SandPiper hosting ... an equivalent test could be performed much more easily ... via WAN .vs. in-house LAN ... but it sure would get the point across, eh? Sometimes a little theatre makes the difference ...
