I try to filter out CNBC as much as possible, often without success. Did you hear Bob Pisani pre-market- he
said there would be no profit today "according to the traders". The traders give him disinformation
to spread around...or so I think. I could be paranoid

I have been laughing each time he says something like "the traders are telling me that........". It is almost always a bearish call especially when the market has been down a couple of days. I think what happens is that the traders he is referring are very experienced and would tend to be more like the bond traders at least in their thinking. Their expert analysis leads them astray. (could be a contrarian indicator)
The money inflow into stocks makes all their traditional training and experience out of whack. There is so much regular money coming into the market and individuals want stock funds. Of course the market keeps going up until some "experienced" hedge fund managers decide to sell off or short the market. They soon cover as the individuals just don't sell. Net effect is zero except for the additional inflows that keeping coming in.
IMHO, we are in for huge rallys in the coming few months. A y2k selloff (if one occurs) would be followed with monstrous rallies.
