Having just read your post again, after it was included in the CBS Marketwatch article, it struck me just how stupid it was.

Let's see PA was involved early on with MSFT, possibly the greatest investment of all time. Left because he had a little problem with Hodgkins and decided to enjoy life for a while. He was also an early investor in AOL. He bailed on that because he wasn't able to get enough stock to run things. He is not soley interested in dollars. Still he clearly saw that interconnected community would be big.

And now you want us to bail on PA and CHTR? For MSFT and AOL? Both still good investments, but we'll talk in five years and see how they've all done.

I'll take a pass pass on that idea.
