I hear ya, Ike.

Seems like the last couple of years, dodging the bullets has been as important as picking the stuff that's going to go up. In '96 and '97, just about the only mistake you could make was selling stuff (and Lord knows, I left a LOT of money on the table with stuff like Merck, J&J, etc.). Mercifully I got out of some former darlings like POT near the top, so I still have my job for the time being. Sold some TRP in the mid-high 20s, and thought I was clever to buy it back around $18. Doesn't look so clever now.

So much for the "dogs of the Dow" theory, eh?
