OTOT--Having once owned an airplane, I didn't think anything was more expensive, unless perhaps it's having a couple of mistresses<<gg>>.The origin of "vetting" makes sense. I'll return the favor. Do you know the derivation of the word "scrimmage" in football? It comes from the old English word "scrymmage" meaning a minor battle. Very appropriate. "Skirmish" comes from the same root. File that in the department of useless trivia.
