according to [Gemstar's] 10K, they had about $150,000 in advertising revenue in FY99. According to a recent The Street.com article, the company had $400k in advertising revenue in 1Q 2000 alone.

That reminds me of AOL a few years ago when they were beginning to get the first slivers of the online advertising pie. I didn't have much of a visionary approach to investing then. I still don't have enough of one now, but it's getting better. This kind of sequential increase is very exciting even though it is in the embryonic stage.
