Jim, good to see CHIP back off, a deal will take a little time, the speculation that was occuring was troublesome for lots of reasons. You may want to take a look at a merger that is occurring with Windstar (OTC:BB WSRI). The company did a 250/1 reverse, the outstanding shares in the current float must be extremely small, <500k shares. Principles are restricted from selling for 90 days. Check out the chart and filings. The merger seems of high quality (unique network hardware) nexland.com . There is also a remote possibility that the presplit Windstar was heavily shorted with covering now occurring. Whatever the reasons, the stock is running now, mostly on the small float IMO, definitely worth trading.
