The i820 will be known as one of the biggest busts Intel came out with...Mark this post..

At Comdex, EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHERS had i820 motherboards on display. I had to look at practically everyone to find the very few Athlon boards. Some booths had dozens of them on display. Taiwan bought into the i820 in a huge way. If you are right, and the i820 proves to be a bust, Intel will have caused a lot of companies in Taiwan to lose a lot of money. This won't go very far towards their goodwill... they may even start to consider to build Athlon boards!
