Kash, they have forgotten about the fundamentals of their biz - Mhz sells, and deliver the customer the best technology at the best price. Intel got caught with their pants down. I'm sure they never imagined that AMD could execute on the Athlon the way they have. Coming from the Cyrix camp, I can't believe it myself. They designed it in record time, layed it out in record time, built it, and the damn thing works as advertised. You really have to take your hats off to them. If they can now get a robust, low latency onchip cache working, SMP chips and boards, Mustang core improvement, 64 bit extensions, and SMP on-a-chip Sledgehammer working with similar execution, Intel is going to be in a world of hurt, and we are going to be wealthy.
