Hi, Turs. Glad you stopped by. Your input on the EC mirror business is appreciated. gentexcorp.com 1958 - they've got us by 16 years. I was interested to read of their history in the silk weaving business. My grandfather worked for a similar company at that time and they suffered a similar fate. Klots Throwing Company, that was a fine name. Carbondale is another winner; I visualize the graphitic form. Adding to the confusion, there's also Gentex Optics (division of Essilor of America), a well-known producer of polycarbonate lenses. I believe it was once part of the "other" Gentex.
