A marketing idea for GNET.

Remember earlier this year BP (before Paul),
when GNET's big advertising campaign included putting the "Go2Net" logo on Evander Holyfield's boxing trunks, just before his big heavyweight fight? This was considered to be quite revolutionary and creative at the time. But heck, even with a big-screen TV, you needed a magnifying glass to catch it.

Here's an idea I got from this week's WTO conference demonstrations here in Seattle (and this was even more effective then those who marched in "turtle" costumes, which was hard to top).

Apparently (according to the local news) the only demonstrator signs that were really noticed were the ones done by the "Seattle Lesbian Avengers." They were protesting against the "Bovine Growth Hormone."

Anyway, their secret "marketing" technique was the following:
They painted the slogans on their bodies. . .
and marched TOPLESS! And. . .EVERYBODY read their message!!!

There must be a way that GNET could use this technique in their advertising plans. Perhaps the next time Russ does an interview with Mark Haines on CNBC he could bring with him a few dozen "shark ladies," with Go2Net tattoos strategically placed. It might at least lead to interviews on "Good Morning America" and Larry King; not to mention Heraldo Rivera, Jay Leno, and David Letterman.

Just trying to help.

Roger ;)

PS. It'd work for me. I'd buy a few extra shares, cause I use to be a SCUBA diver.
