When I tried to respond, Silicon Investor wasn't responding. I did do some comparisons. SMTC has a longer track record of success and therefore may be less risk. I guess anyone not wanting risk is in utilities, and aren't they down big in the last year. More comparisons. POWI SMTC Gross Margin Growth Rate (5 years) 6.56 10.51 Net Prft Margin Growth Rate (5 yrs) NA 75.59 Market Cap 6.60 16.25 Net Income Growth Rate (5 years) NA 130.54 * Shares 13.22 30.81 Float 6.70 24.60 # Insider Ownership 49.31% 20.16%++ * Awesome Growth rate over 5 year period. POWI revenue growth rate over 3 years was 56% # More for funds to buy. ++ Better percentage from Canslim point of View. SMTC has had more new and proprietary products announced in past year.
