well chanukah has begun.....for the kids the best part of course is they get a bunch of stuff.....for me the best part is potato latkes....there is a major art to making a good potato latke...my converted wife has certainly mastered the technique...she brings them to all the kids classes .....we give them to everyone....hey I even gave some to the garbage men as they passed by....they loved them..everyone does...they are best done a touch overdone...perhaps I will get my wife to post a recipe....here is an interesting website done by Chabad...they are an orthodox group with roots out of Russia and they know how to party......vodka is a mainstay for any major holiday event with them....at the last big Jewish holiday I got blessed for a good year over a shot of vodka...thing is the Rabbi did that with me and plenty other folks..I have no idea how he was still standing later on that night. chanukah99.com
