Hi everyone. I've been in lurker mode for quite some time now. Unfortunately I just don't have time to contribute anything useful here anymore. But my morning coffee would not be the same without you guys and gals! It amazes me how the quality of this board perseveres!

I was in London recently and was forced to connect to the net through an IDD call back to the US at 9600 bps! Oh man! As expensive as it was, I just couldn't help myself but read a few posts here! Just about fell over when I saw the KM deal! I bought into the KM deal big time way back and was pretty convinced (as many of us were) that it was a sure thing. It's really great to see some potential realized from it after all this time. The point that the development expense has already been written off should not be missed. That income is going straight to the bottom line. A thing of beauty for sure.

You know those “medic alert” bracelets that they have with medical info for an emergency? …think about the potential for a card with a person's lifetime medical history including a few x-rays and emergency information, allergies etc. It could truly save lives. It could also store all personal information. With a swipe of a card a medical facility could admit a patient, re-create their entire medical history and notify insurance companies, relatives etc. A medical service co. could put together a whole program so that in a matter of a few years virtually everyone would have a “health card”.

I think the key to the proliferation of these new cards will be the penetration of the readers. Let's hope that there all over the place soon!

Whoa, another idea: Electronic Passports! Forget flipping through pages and rubber stamps! Just swipe your card through the slot! U.S. Customs recently introduced this type of service in a few major entry points in the US but it is really aimed only at frequent international travelers. Perhaps someday everyone will have a card issued with their birth certificate!

On another subject, I've had a heck of a time getting anything to work on EXBTV. There's too much to do on the web to sit and fiddle with a site that doesn't work. My allegiance to AXC might make me go ahead and waste an hour to get it working but I'm (we're) far from the average surfer. I hope that getting the site humming is Job 1 at iNEXTV right now.

I haven't felt this good about AXC in a long time. It really looks like things are coming together. (FINALLY!)

Best regards,

Sean
