And maybe it is YOU who needs to review your history. None of the people you mentioned ever adhered to the constitution of their particular nation.
There is a big difference between having a constitution on display, and one that is actually used and adhered to.
I don't need your forgiveness as I have not insulted you. I certainly have not called you an IDIOT, having been able to, thus far, repress my sinful inclination to do so.
I'm merely taking your very own words (such as saying these thugs did what they did because they are troubled or societal outcasts, a fact neither, not I could ever verify), and making you eat them. I'm even offering you a bit of salt,.. for taste, of course.
You seem all too willing to compromise the civil rights of everyone else in order to permit a bunch of anarchists to have a free shot at vandalizing an entire downtown district.
Now I don't know how many fights you've ever been in, but I know of very I've been in where I could have prevented a guy from attacking me by offering him a hug, or sympathetically shouting,....
"I understand that you feel like an outcast, and that a lot of anger has built up inside of you over this WTO issue... But violence or assaulting me isn't the way to solve your problems".
Nope.. I've usually had to pound their faces in a bit before I could get to that stage of a rational conversation.
Then I just tell them... "I don't hate you... I just hate what you do.... Now go to your room and think about what you have done".
