Well ya learn something every day. I didn't know the Sens had been around as long as they have. They started in the NHL in 1917 till 1934 then a nothing till 1992. Interesting.

I'm afraid unless the government forks over some money the sens look to be history again. As you know I'm not in favour of subsidizing the league to help keep wealthy owners rich, and apparently neither is our government. Our govenment had stated from the beginning to the league to get there house in order first, then they'll look into helping out. Sounds reasonable to me. But Bettman appears to be powerless to make changes to keep teams in Canada. It's very unfortunate indeed.
