rudedog, thanks for the helpful article. CPQ was not optimistic in their consumer hardware profitability going forward without e-tag along revenues. The low consumer end is just a tough market. Dell has not entered the low end consumer market (unlike CPQ) because they see sufficient stellar opportunity elsewhere. Even the WebPC is not low end. It is really marketed as a higher end, easier to use Windows PC for consumers.
