I read the Vanity Fair article about the murder last summer, I think. It's long enough ago that the particulars of the case as reported in the article are hazy in my mind. I'm trying to remember what I can so that the deductive powers of my mind might perhaps be of some use here. I do retain impressions which are quite strong though. The article's characterization of Suzanne portrayed her as basically very much in love with James, as passionately as any student at that age can be about a college instructor. The article doesn't say whether or not she ever articulated her feelings. I suspect she didn't. I wonder if James ever fully realized her attraction for him, and how under the strain of such passion, even seemingly small rejections can grow in magnitude to the point of torment from the view of rejected. Unfortunately for James, no other remotely viable suspects have been brought to light. I guess its up to his friends and supporters, including you, to continue the investigation the police refuse to do. I'll cogitate and see if I can come up with any ideas.
