I just stopped by Tweeters to see what was available in TV's. The gist of it is that most TV's now are HDTV ready. They have also come down in price to between $2500 and $4000 (very close in price to last year's standard TV's of the same size). The decoder adds $1000 to the price (this coming spring a decoder will be available from Mitsubishi for that price that will handle all airwave transmission and satellite transmission). Not that much HDTV is being broadcast yet but with these prices and the fact that new TV sales are now HDTV ready I got the impression that we are on the cusp of a real ramping up of sales to be followed shortly by more HDTV programming etc. ACRO will benefit enormously.
