Sideware Forward to $100; My opinion of SDWSF on SI is Amazingly like Whaler's opinion on SH. Other than my seemingly flamboyant $20 and $100 comments, we are in accord, verbatim! The first part below is me as I posted yesterday. Whaler's post follows below that. Whaler's post was first. I read his post then I put down my thoughts. All I can say is Whaler has a good head and he knows this stock. I am grateful for his presence on SH. I will miss oldfellow. Wisdom, in general, is hard won.
Kris Sideware Forward to $100
SDWSF has started the advertising campaign and the good news is that there are things to announce. President Jim Speros on the Windows to Wallstreet interview let a Lockheed cat out of the bag. The Home Team Sports selecting Sideware Corp. and Dr. Bean for use on Its Live E-Commerce Web Site was met with enthusiasm. Investors labeled as "smart money" recently finished a $4 million PP. This PP in addition to prior issues has made debt free Sideware flush with cash.
The test ads in major publications such as the National post show the flashy "Backbone" theme that is on their web site. They have chose this backbone theme to advertise the Dr Bean e-commerce capabilities. These will continue as large 1/2 page ads in major papers from Nov 29th through to Dec 16th. The Dr. is in with Bean 3.0. An aggressive schedule has been laid for new features in the next 60 days. The schedule has low technical risks since it is consistent with successful past technical efforts.
Oracle VEEP Jay Nussbaum joined the Sideware BOD months ago. Oracle chief Larry Ellison recently declared e commerce war. Ellison is a colorful man of action that sticks to his decrees. Sideware continues to add to Oracle integration compatibility as it is delineated on the new Sideware web site. Oracle has yet to tag a partner in the niche that Sideware has carved for itself while Nussbaum has been on the Sideware BOD. It seems certain that the other shoe has yet to land in this Sideware/Oracle partnership. The plans for the Sideware NASDAQ listing require (along with $4 stock price) a second outside BOD member. It will most likely be a heavy hitter of Jay Nussbaum's ilk. It will also most likely be the harbinger of future beneficial alliances. IBM and AT&T remain as announced partners but with no named campaign.
Sideware senior management presented a business plan calling for their customers to be announced in January 2000. The CRM software that Sideware produces has far reaching impacts on a company attempting e commerce capabilities. Sideware took a conservative development and integration approach desiring no missteps. The lessons learned by others such as from the IBM / Hersey e-commerce fiasco has been extremely valuable to Sideware. The business plan execution has been consistent and accompanied with a steadily rising stock price.
Sideware's older (by months) sister companies in e commerce such as KANA, SILK, EPNY and BBSW all trade in double and triple digits. Sideware has had the advantage of studying the approach of these companies and forging a more flexible and robust technical approach. These are Sideware's competitors who are now stuck with their designs. Given the sure management, excellent partnerships and technology capabilities that Sideware is throwing into the e-commerce mix, they will undoubtedly soon surpass the competition. Sideware intends to have those double then triple digit stock prices.

Whaler's Post Lets not get misunderstood on either end. We all have a choice in our personal trading matters. Oldfellow simply suggests we should take advantage of the dips. I for one know what he means and yet I choose to do my own thing. I guess I am greedy because I can't time the market worth Beans. This latest rise has yet to show us it?s underlying cause and until I have that nailed down, how can I use that knowledge to judge retracement or pullback levels.
Hell if we wanted to be cocky, I would short the hell out of it, as SYD "always falls after a spike"..right?..lol (ask horst ) No thanks ....I will hold on and not take the risk of even one share missing an extra dollar during next weeks trading trend...the trend is your friend? If that is correct, think I at least have the trend?s direction nailed down. Now lets not kick the crap out of our friendly Old fellow, he is very knowledgable and has his own pattern for making money.. He has brought some good input to the board that I and most others appreciate very much. We are at $ 3.05 US it?s time to rejoice not back bite. ******************************************************** Wildriders what the heck brings you out of the closet?? Wasn't it someone here who "bit the hand that fed them" the reason you dumped the forum in posting silence. Mushroom, I believe it was you who brought us the Larry Ellison comments yesterday slightly before Wild riders came out of the closet in support. ******************************************************** So down to the goodies ...RUMOUR What?s the underlying cause for the buying and market interest?? Lets pretend I am the VSE demanding an explanation.. SYD would say it's because we started an advertising campaign as 1) Jim Speros has his Windows to Wallstreet interviews airing now. 2) KBZS out of San Francisco has been airing a show for a while now. 3) The "Backbone" ads are showing a 1/2 page in major papers from Nov 29th thru to Dec 16th. 4) We have a new flashy website up (investor site and storefront) 5) Bean 3.0 is available to buy Rumours..... 1) Oracle has kicked our tires some more and Larry Ellison is mentioned in the mix. 2) IBM has been sniffing around also and there is a large IBM show awaiting Sideware's presence Dec 14th or so 3) A PP was finished up to the tune of 4.1 million said to be smart money 4) Talk of a BOD still outstanding where will he come from and do they foolow past history and bring on a heavy hitter of Jay Nussbaum?s stature. 5) Jim?s most recent interview lets a cat out of the bag by mentioning Lockheed 6) Talk that this is a planned effort to see SYD achieve the 4.00 trading price necessary for NASDAQ status (eligibility) 7) The new website finally shows us the Oracle relationship in real...We are a partner for sure. 8) The realization that Jan 2000, the month that Owen nailed as liftoff time after a "tooling up period", is around the corner. 9) People watch and look at the breakout as a signal...we have a double in the last 2 weeks...not long ago SYD could be had for 1.50-1.60..here we hvae crested at 3.20 How much longer would any sane human sit on the fence waiting to buy. 10) Its undervalued as hell when looking at the rest of the customer service apps that are enjoying phenominal shares prices Kana almost at 200 bucks? e-gain? e-share? 11) finally "the market speaks", even DD can hear it Hell we are at 3 rotten bucks and sitting on the "lip of the cup" to use an OLDFELLOW quote. Faint heart never won fair lady, so I sit on my Sideware eggs, like the greedy pig I am! "OINK OINK" to use a whaler quote. I want my 3 years worth here folks and we are easily more that any e-gain or Kana we have the product and the channels. Have a nice weekend all and look forward to a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
