With your millions you have obviously lost touch with the real world.

Look at some demographic information about single mothers with minimum wage jobs heading households with kids.

And, believe it or not, I do know about the real world impact of minimum wage increases. I spent more than a decade overseeing a large daycare center -- full of workers at minimum wage taking care of the children of single mothers who were working at minimum wage.

The increases never ratcheted up the ladder. The only raises given were at the bottom.

Worker's with decades of experience made a token nickel or dime and hour more than the teenagers working their first job. The older workers rarely complained because they only got raises when the minimum wage was increased.

The reason they never got raises was because we couldn't afford to raise the rates for child care until the parents got a raise. Few of them got steady increases in salary.
