No, the attitude is "If it's worth fighting for it's worth someone else dying for." It is apparent that we need to train American soldiers' mothers to tell their children "Return with your shield or upon it!" Don't trust those polls. RR got away with getting 240 Marines killed in Beirut, and the inhabitants of an insane asylum in Grenada. Nobody seemed to blame him. Bush ordered the thoughtless slaughter of hundreds on the road from Kuwait City. Clinton destroyed the Chinese embassy with only the loss of two Chinese reporters without losing a single U.S. pilot. I think he deserves a lot of credit.
