I agree there are few if any stocks I feel as good about. Not ready to join the 1QQ% club but I think I've designed some nice artwork, don't you?
There have been times where I've been as much as 25% intQ Q but I'm just not comfortable at that level. Someone said,"Buy as much as sleep will allow". That's where I'm at.
I've not read the books that this thread ascribes to but I like the philosophy. There are industries and businesses within those industries that defy ordinary evaluation methods. They are valued by the imaginations of the minds carrying out the promise of the company.
One of my first and best teachers says to look for companies that are changing the way people live, work and play. I like some biotechs as well because they can determine WHETHER we live, work, and play.
I'm not very bright, but I know these are exciting times my friend, rates of change are boggling, and it's great to be mixing it up with the folks like yourself here on S.I.
