<<Neither Magnecomp or KRP had any wireless suspensions.>>
Z.....are you sure about Magnecomp???
If you look at what they reported re 2nd half 98 vs 1st half 99 they went from an ASP of .96 to 1.30. That in Singapore dollars which convert to .57 and .76 in US dollars. Given that conventional suspensions have been reported right around 60 cents by HTCH for several qtrs now I almost have to think that Magnecomp had to have some wireless production in the mix to get their ASP up over 75 cents US. Further, their discussion both complains about the past conventional/wireless mix and alludes to uncertainty over their future conventional/wireless mix....implying at least that there IS a mix.

If I do the arithmetic using US$1.20 as a wireless ASP for them they would have been running about a 30%/70% wireless/conventional mix and that translates to less than 500k wireless units a week vs 4-5 million a week for HTCH.

Do you know anything about NHK's production levels? I've been singularly unsuccessful finding any data on them anywhere.

Best Regards......Tom
