on the daily chart, connect CLOSE 08-NOV-96 with 24-AUG-99 and, anything above that is "over-bought".

Somewhat more fancy - in METASTOCK, ask Paul to try vertically displacing 200d EMA around +15% or so (ie., lay down an additional 200d EMA line and Vertical Shift it ~15%). If Paul gets into this - tell him to use HIGH as a basis for the upper 200d EMA "envelope" and LOW as a basis for the lower 200d EMA "envelope", rather than CLOSE.
