I use a Belkin Omni Cube 4-Port ($99). It can be switched using the keyboard (scroll lock, scroll lock port number). I've got two digital video capture/edit systems and a general workstation attached to it. It really cleaned up the work area. If you decide to switch the video get good cables, double or triple shielded. The cheap cable set from Belkin does not cut it.
