I suspect it is--it's a direct quote from your post. I was merely pointing out that ancient forests are not easily renewable, and that humanity enjoys the benefit of the sanctuary of old groves of trees. So I was not interpreting your stated opinion, simply responding to it with a different opinion, backed up by a lot of actual facts and logic.

Thread harmony? That's very funny! The debate about environmental issues is a very important one, and to me supersedes thread harmony. You may certainly decline to respond any further, but anyone here has the right to disagree with anyone else if they can keep the argument reasonably civil and not go against SI's rules of conduct, and I will continue to express my opinions even when they disagree with yours.
