Very good guess! I guess you are using AT&T HTML Editor.

I would have used:

<embed SRC="let-it-snow7.mid" autostart=true loop=true width=145 height=55>

I believe the following works if you don't want the viewer to see anything:

<embed SRC="let-it-snow7.mid" autostart=true loop=true width=1 height=1>

If you use this, you might want to give the viewer a way to turn the music off. This can be done using a shutup.gif and a no sound html page. But that is probably more than you want to get into now.
