Scott,

Do you mean that the insider sales were REPORTED 10 days before earnings were released? Surely they were not sold so close to earnings release as that would have appearance of illegality? Most companies have compliance procedures to prevent insiders from trading shares within 3 weeks or so leading up to EPS reports to prevent this.
