He's clueless. But then again given the level of idiocy involved it might take a few days for it to sink in should massive grid problems occur.

Last night I watched a History Channel program segment on the Northeast Black-out of 1965. It took 12 minutes from the source of the trouble near Niagra Falls to the black-out in NYC.

The closing comments were chilling. The expert being interviewed said something along the lines of "I'd like to say that more than 30 years later we've solved the problems that led to the black-out, but I can't say that."

It was an interesting program. Great Engineering Failures (Disasters?) of the 20th Century or something like that. They interviewed those involved with the failures directly, industry experts and failure analysts.

I should have watched "You've Got Mail" on HBO2.
