LOL!! <<"I may be mistaken but I believe that the DOJ has proved harm to the consumer.">> Considering most "consumers" only know which button turns the box on MSFT should be given a big thank you. The productivity level of the world would be no where close to todays level on any other OS. Ask your co workers and neighbors how much they accomplished in DOS. Most will have no idea of what you are talking about. MSFT may be a bit of a tyrant but have earned it and the country should be thankful as a large portion of the economy has been moved on windows. With 2 or 20 additional operating systems that had to be learned with every job change and/or were not compatable many of todays business would not be where they are today-- many would not BE period. Where would the internet be? Who would be on and how many programs would be needed to support many OS... Sorry,, a shareholder but not a huge fan of Windows but realistic enough to know without it or with constraints upon it we would be many years behind todays level... it is easy to use and with the level of most users at times it is not easy enough. Listen to the questions coming into your companies IS/IT help desk ...
