I misunderstood your click-include question. My answer was based on you having trouble selecting a list of files in explorer, a different animal altogether.

What I think you're trying to do is a Cut or Copy using the mouse. People do this by putting the mouse-pointer at one location, hold down the left button while moving the mouse to a second location. When they do this, the stuff between gets highlighted. Once highlighted you can perform some work with only the highlighted stuff, such as Cut or Copy.

For this to work, your mouse must be 'available' for this type of thing. For example: If your system has begun a command, it may expect the command be completed before returning to 'ordinary' work.

Perhaps you could try this with a 'simpler' program such as NOTEPAD and see if the trouble persists.
