do you have some specific ideas or know some web based resources on this beyond Bob's general comments

Marc, I took my own advice, taking a close look at all of the SFE "partner companies" described in detail at the Safeguard web site and came up with Cambridge Technology Partners (CATP), about 12% owned by SFE. This is what got my initial attention:

Cambridge Technology Partners Teams With World's Leading Retailer to Bring Its 90 Million+ Customers Online
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 1999--
Cambridge Leads Construction of Wal-Mart.com, Coordinating Efforts of Multiple Vendors

It's selling at about $16, with a market cap under $1B, real sales and real earnings, selling at a PE of 28 and Price/Sales about 1.60. Looks to be in the right place at the right time, but still under the radar of the B2B market participants. Interesting to note that neither SFE nor CATP are on Brinker's B2B list at his site, at least not yet. Anyway, this one looks interesting, though I am not in it yet except through my position in SFE.
