I agree Christine, children should NEVER be spanked. It is very cruel.

Instead, they should be gagged, handcuffed, hobbled, blindfolded and locked in the garage overnight whenever they misbehave. This humane form of punishment will lessen the chances of the child becoming a wife beater or child molester when he grows up.

It worked for my kids. Even though my son is serving 30 years in prison for burning down a rain forest and shooting the last spotted owl on earth he has never struck another human being in anger.
