Sorry. I miss quoted the article. The FTC didn't say that. It was Quigley that said that about the independent study they contracted that determined zinc to be ineffectual in a group of children and adolescents. However, the article I am referring to (originally posted on Yahoo and linked here byMad2) also went to say that zinc clinical studies have had mixed results and that the FTC regarded certain claims to be unsubstantiated etc, etc I re-post the link but this painfully slow web site is too much for me tonight.
