Hi Sue,

I have (1) 56K ISA modem card on #1 and (1) 10/100MB NIC (PCI) on #1, (1) 10MB ISA NIC on #2, (an old 486 w/no PCI slot). Transfer, read files between the 2 w/crossover cable. Access Internet (using Sygate.com) from #2 thru' the crossover cable while #1 is busy elsewhere. Different URL's on each rig. Be nice to have PCI 100MB NICs on both rigs (32 bit). Home Finance Doesn't Allow<G>.

mr.mark says we can use win98 second Edition instead of SyGate to
configure the NICs.

Hope I'm not sounding too muddled!!!

regards, /jw
