You have misunderstood my argument.

If you want to know more about the good things a floatation of AV could have done for COMPAQ read the statements put out earlier this year by Rosen and the Board, EP and the Executive and Schrock, the head of AV, as well as the published consensus of commentators and the apparent consensus of shareholders at the AGM. Or scroll back and see how it was supported enthusiastically by most on this board - before they did an about turn when Rosen changed the party line.
