SEDONA Appoints Software Sales Executive David Blackledge to Vice President of Sales
LIMERICK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 1999--SEDONA Corporation (NASDAQ: SDNA) announced today the appointment of David Blackledge, a highly experienced software sales and marketing executive, to Vice President of Sales.
In this role, Blackledge will be challenged to accelerate the Company's revenue growth, with initial focus on the rapidly expanding market of customer relationship management applications solutions.

Blackledge brings to SEDONA more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. Prior to joining SEDONA, Blackledge served as Business Development Manager of VERITAS Software Corporation, an industry leading enterprise-class application storage management software provider that ensures information availability from business-critical applications by delivering integrated, cross-platform storage management software solutions.
Before VERITAS, Blackledge worked for three years at Triteal Corporation, a start-up systems solutions provider, where he contributed to the rapid growth of the business from pre-IPO to $15+ million in annual revenue. In his role as International Development Manager, Blackledge was responsible for Triteal's expansion into Asian and European markets.
Prior to Triteal, Blackledge worked for nine years at SUN Microsystems, Inc., a leading provider of hardware, software and services that power the Internet, with $12.4 billion in annual revenues. He initially was a National Sales Manager for SUN, and later was a District Sales Manager in a $25 million sales region. Blackledge holds a Bachelor's degree in Management/Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA degree in Finance and International Business from George Washington University.
