"i do feel badly for those that bought in the last couple years at higher prices, don't you?"

Honestly, I guess I do. A large number of BRK shareholders don't know their arse from a hole in the ground when it comes to investing. So they put their money and their faith in Buffett and the public entity which he so selflessly runs for a mere $100k annually.

The sad thing is that if you don't know what you are buying, you are likely to panic at the bottom. This has been the sadest part of all for the naive and relatively new investors to BRK.

The irony is that a value buy in the greatest value investor's company hasn't been presented like it is today in many many years, and now people don't want it! You would think that people who invest in BRK agree with his investment principles and would therefore be buying - not bitching right now.
