How about some clear cutting in certain watersheds tend to degrade the water in the river it feeds thereby lowering the water quality of all who live downstream and depend on the river? Plus fewer salmon will be able to reproduce so instead of you paying $5.99 a pound for salmon you will have to shell out $15.99 a pound?

How about all the women with breast cancer who have been helped by Taxol which wouldn't have been discovered if all the Pacific Yew trees had been cut?
