Brian, Re: "Spending will increase dramatically in 2000 as major corporations scramble to integrate the Internet into almost every aspect of their operations and are ready to get their checkbooks out."
Business to business is the next big Internet wave. Last week, GM came out and said essentially that they wanted all their vendors and other associated companies to do business with them over the Internet, or forget it. Ford, I think, has said something similar. When the old line companies come out like that, it's getting pretty universal. To tell you the truth, I thought of EMC and Cisco first when imagining all the buying, ERP, etc. going Internet because of the huge increase there will be in storage and bandwidth requirements. But, a few nanoseconds later, I decided that Intel should share in the boom because of their server, server farm and comm chips businesses.
