The VeraBill system has been extremely well received in the EMEA region. We currently have 13 VeraBill installations in Europe and five in Africa. We believe the region offers great growth opportunities as deregulation, the expansion of wireless service and infrastructure improvements continue. A sales and support office in the region will enable Veramark to better serve current and future customers."
Mazzella continued, "Europe is also the home of many of the world's leading telecom equipment manufacturers and system integrators. Veramark currently has relationships with several of these companies. With the help of Martin Baines and the team he will build in Europe, we expect to broaden and add to those relationships. In addition, Mr. Baines' experience with Compaq, Sun Microsystems, and Silicon Graphics will help boost our IP network billing activities with new customers and our existing business partners." |
