Were the Greeks in a canyon? What would Aristotle have said about the manned space program? Certainly not what our "modern" intellectuals, university professors, and other collectivist hand wringers did.

What was the knee-jerk reaction of the "intellectuals" in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s? How frail our world is. How we are so insignificant. How nature is more important than Man. How babies starves because the $25 billion should have gone into baby formula and not "a few pounds of rocks". This is perceptual thinking. The Greeks would have recognized it as immoral (which it is). This is why most of todays so-called intellectuals are morally and philosophically bankrupt.
